Yes, we offer pre-micro wedding consultations to discuss your plans, preferences, and any special requests. This meeting can be done in person, over the phone, or via video call, depending on what works best for you. Along with a questionnaire sent with your contract. We also offer an discounted engagement session as part of booking your elopement with us, which is a great way to get to know each other before the big day.

Can we meet before the elopement day?

Absolutely! We understand that every wedding is unique, so we offer customizable options to ensure your package perfectly suits your needs. Just let us know what you're looking for, and we’ll create a personalized package for you.

Can we customize a package to fit our needs?

We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 6-8 months in advance, especially for popular wedding dates and seasons. This ensures availability and gives us ample time to plan and prepare for your big day.

How far in advance should we book?

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the photographer falls sick around our wedding day?
At Simply Willson Photography, we understand the importance of your wedding day and are committed to ensuring that it is captured beautifully, no matter what. In the unlikely event that your primary photographer falls ill, we have a contingency plan in place:
Backup Photographers: We work with a network of professional photographers who share our style and quality standards. If needed, we will arrange for an experienced backup photographer to take over, ensuring your wedding day is covered seamlessly while Simply Willson Photography will take over the editing process.
Preparation and Coordination: We will ensure that the backup photographer is fully briefed on your wedding plans, photography preferences, and any special moments you want to be captured. This way, you can rest assured that the continuity and quality of service will be maintained.
Communication: We will keep you informed every step of the way, so you are aware of any changes and can feel confident that your wedding photography is in capable hands.
Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities, and we take all necessary measures to deliver exceptional service, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances.

Why does Simply Willson Photography not shoot past 9:30 PM?
At Simply Willson Photography, the safety and well-being of our clients and team are our top priorities. As such, we have made the decision not to shoot past 9:30 PM due to previous safety concerns.
Reasons for This Policy:
Safety of Our Team: Shooting late into the night can pose safety risks for our photographers and assistants, especially when working in unfamiliar environments or remote locations. By setting a cut-off time of 9:30 PM, we ensure our team members can safely travel home without the added risks associated with late-night shoots.
Quality of Work: Photography in low-light conditions can be challenging and may not produce the high-quality results our clients expect. Shooting during daylight hours or with controlled lighting allows us to capture your special moments with clarity and precision, ensuring the best possible outcome for your images.
Client Experience: We want to provide you with the best possible experience during your photography session. Shooting late into the night can be tiring for both clients and photographers, potentially affecting the overall mood and energy. By scheduling during daylight hours or earlier in the evening, we can ensure a more enjoyable and productive experience for everyone involved.
Risk Management: Late-night shoots, particularly in settings where there may be significant partying, can pose a risk to our equipment and the safety of our team. Increased alcohol consumption and rowdy behavior can create unpredictable situations that may compromise the safety of our staff and the integrity of our equipment.
Alternative Solutions:
While we do not shoot past 9:30 PM, we are happy to work with you to find alternative solutions that meet your needs. This may include scheduling your session earlier in the day, adjusting the timing, or exploring indoor venues with ample lighting options.
Your Safety Matters:
Your safety and satisfaction are of utmost importance to us. If you have any concerns or special requirements regarding the timing of your session, please don't hesitate to discuss them with us. We are here to accommodate your needs and ensure a safe and enjoyable photography experience.
